What’s behind this digital bloat? High-res images, videos, sprawling JavaScript frameworks, and our collective obsession with flashier, more complex websites. Unfortunately, all this digital glitz comes at a cost: massive energy consumption. Data centres must work overtime—and overheat—requiring vast amounts of water and fossil-fueled energy just to keep cool.
We’ve gotten pretty spoiled with technology, and it is not okay. Fairwind Creative is striving to counter this destruction by offering an eco-friendly solution for businesses who want to be a part of the solution. Naturally, there are trade-offs. No e-commerce. No background videos or flashy carousels. No storing customer data or contact form submissions. Plugins are available, but only those that meet our efficiency standards.
Every Net-Zero Website includes an analytics dashboard right on the website, powered by Fathom Analytics, where you can measure pageviews, device types, traffic sources, browsers, countries, cities, and more. You will also receive snapshots of your past month’s statistics in your inbox each month.
